House Rules
End Time
Receptions must end by the contracted time; extensions cost $500 per 30 minutes if requested in advance.
In-House Catering
Only the venue caterer may supply food and beverage; outside caterers require a $1,000 fee, proof of Chicago liquor license, and insurance.
Alcohol Service
All alcohol must be served by a licensed bartender or caterer; guests may not bring outside alcohol.
Prohibited Effects
Fire, fireworks, confetti, balloons, sparklers, glitter, silly string, smoke, and fog are prohibited; only fully contained candles are allowed.
Amplified Music
Clients must keep sound amplification within reasonable noise limits.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited indoors, on the rooftop, and in the garden, and must be at least 15 feet from entry doors.
Insurance
General liability and liquor liability of $1 million each are required at least 30 days before the event.
Pets
Only service animals are permitted; pets are prohibited in the event space and garden.
