House Rules
Curfew
Events must conclude by midnight, and events running beyond 5.5 hours or past midnight are charged $500 plus tax per hour.
In-House Catering
All catering must be coordinated through the on-site Cornell Cafe, with a $25 per person surcharge for an approved outside caterer.
Open Flame
All candles must sit in a holder that encompasses the entire candle, and open flames such as taper candles are not permitted.
Prohibited Decor
Bird seed and confetti are not allowed, and bubbles are permitted outdoors only.
Fireworks
Fireworks require at least 45 days notice plus County and Fire Department permits and are limited to 9 p.m. unless pre-approved.
Smoking
Smoking is only allowed in front of the main museum entrance, with a $75 cleanup fee for violations.
Vendor Insurance
All vendors must carry a minimum of $1,000,000 in general liability insurance.
